Balloon footage can be hard to picture. Here's a visual guide so you know exactly what to expect — before you ask for a quote.

Garland Length Reference

Average person
≈ 5'4"–5'6"
Use this as your mental reference. Everything to the right shows how far each garland length stretches compared to a standing person.

Entry-level. Table centerpiece, small balloon cluster, dessert table accent, or mini photo moment. Barely taller than most people standing.

Standard doorway. Covers a standard interior doorway width. Great for guest table feature or small backdrop accent.

Dessert table or gift table. Spans a standard 8ft folding table with room to drape. One of the most popular garland lengths.

Full focal wall. Covers a 10ft wall span, long rectangular table, or full backdrop frame. This is what fills most venue feature walls.

≈ 6–8 ft wide
A 6ft garland frames a small doorway beautifully. An 8ft garland covers a full standard entry.
Statement Sofa
≈ 7–8 ft wide
An 8ft garland drapes perfectly across a full sofa — ideal for home party setups and living room reveals.
Banquet Table
6 ft or 8 ft
10ft of garland drapes a 6ft table with cascading ends. 12ft covers an 8ft banquet table edge to edge.
Feature Wall
≈ 10–14 ft wide
A 12ft garland fills most living room and venue feature walls. 14–16ft for a complete floor-to-ceiling span.

About the width of a standard interior doorway. Fits perfectly for intimate home parties, small venue photo moments, or a dessert table focal piece.
Standard Arch
6–10 FT · FROM $350
Best for: ceremony arch, full doorway, venue entrance, birthday backdrop
This is what most people picture when they think "balloon arch." Wide enough to frame a full event entrance, ceremony spot, or photo backdrop where multiple people can stand together.
Large Arch
10–16 FT · FROM $550
Best for: grand venue entrance, outdoor party, large ceremony, multi-person photo moments
Dramatic, statement-making. Wide enough for a full group photo. Typically used for venue entrances, outdoor celebrations, or anywhere you want guests to feel the moment they walk in.
